You lie on the floor with legs straight out. Hands at side of hips, palms down. You then raise both legs between 8-12 inches off the floor, then separate legs in an outward movement till they are about 12-18 inches apart. Next bring the legs back together, pause for a moment, and then return the legs straight down to the floor. That is one rep. Do this 8-12 times for one set.
